Governor race: Republican RAUNER wins voter tally in Madison County

BRUCE RAUNER led Democrat JB Pritzker in votes cast in Madison County for the gubernatorial race, according to the latest vote count.

RAUNER appeared to outpace Pritzker by a margin of 1.9 percent on Tuesday in the county.

In comparison, the 2014 winner, Republican Bruce Rauner, won by a margin of 22.3 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Democrat Pat Quinn, who received 28,444 votes to Rauner's 46,075.
