City of Alton Committee of the Whole met Dec. 17.
Here is the agenda provided by the committee:
1. Call to Order.
2. Roll Call.
3. Audit of Accounts.
4. Resolution, re: The Alton Convention and Visitors Bureau has requested, that the City parking lot between Frontier Furnishings and Paul Lauschke Real Estate be closed on February 1, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. until February 2, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. to facilitate Convention and Visitors Bureau’s Ground Hog Day celebration.
5. Resolution, re: To commence with demolition proceedings concerning 320 Oak St.
6. Resolution, re: To commence with demolition proceedings concerning 635 E 5th St.
7. Resolution, re: To commence with demolition proceedings concerning 2785 Sanford.
8. Resolution, re: That the Mayor and appropriate city officials are authorized and directed to enter into an Agreement, in substantially the form as attached hereto, with Illinois American Water to obtain an advance of sale proceeds.
9. Resolution, re: That Section 1-13-9-2(c) of the Alton City Code shall be revised.
