Alton City Council will meet on Wednesday Jan. 23.

c. Resolution, re: That a portion of certain streets be closed on March 23, 2019, to facilitate the Annual Alton Marathon and 5K run.

Resolution, re: That permission to close off the outermost eastbound lane of Illinois Route 143 from US Route 67 (The Clark Bridge) to the Melvin Price Lock and Dam Way and the outermost northbound lane of US Route 67 (The Clark Bridge) from the City Limits of Alton and border with the State of Missouri to Illinois Route 143 as above designated, be requested of the Department of Transportation for the Half Marathon Run in the City of Alton on March 23, 2019.

e. Resolution, re: To commence with demolition proceedings concerning 603 Piasa St.

f. Resolution, re: That the attached Ordinance amending the number of Class B liquor licenses be considered.

g, Resolution, re: The City of Alton Zoning Administrator recommends changes to the maximum density allowed in R-4 Multiple-Family Residential District and that the attached Ordinance be considered.

h. Resolution, re: To commence with demolition proceedings concerning 1121/1123 E. 5th.

i. Resolution, re: To commence with demolition proceedings concerning 706 E. 6th St.

j. Resolution, re: To commence with demolition proceedings concerning 320 Harriett.

k. Resolution, re: That the City of Alton does hereby authorize the City’s Project Engineers, Sheppard, Morgan & Schwaab, Inc., to advertise for bids for the construction of said Washington Avenue Sanitary Sewer improvements project and to report the results of the bids received to the City Council for their consideration.

l. Resolution, re: To commence with demolition proceedings concerning 702 Fairview.

Madison County Sustainability Program for the 2019 Environmental Grant in the amount of $15,000 with matching funds of $10,000 coming from 2019 MADCO PEP Grant Funds and Park Maintenance budget as needed.
