How did John Lakin spend campaign funds in the first quarter?

Democratic John Lakin's election campaign committee, Citizens for John Lakin, spent $10,498 in the first quarter, according to committee expenditure records obtained from the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

Lakin's committee spent the most on fund raising (food) in the quarter, with 53.6% of this total ($2,180) going to Madison County Firemen's Association in Collinsville. Table 1 below shows the distribution of how Lakin's committee spent its money in the first quarter.
