City of Highland City Council met May 6.
Here is the minutes as provided by the council:
Mayor Michaelis called the Regular Session to order at 7:00pm. Council members Schwarz, Frey, Bellm and Nicolaides were present. Others in attendance were City Manager Mark Latham, City Attorney Michael McGinley, Directors Conrad, Cook, Gillespie, Imming, Korte, Rosen and Slover; Chief Wilson, Coordinator Hubbard, B&Z Administrator Speraneo, Intern Brittney Polo, Treasurer Foehner, Deputy City Clerk Hediger, City Clerk Bellm, Library Director Kim, Councilmen-Elect Hipskind and Sloan, two members of new media, and 31 citizens.
MINUTES
Schwarz made a motion to approve the minutes of the April 19, 2019 Regular Session as attached; seconded by Councilwoman Bellm. Roll Call Vote: Councilmembers Hipskind, Frey, Bellm and Sloan voted aye, none nay. Motion carried.
SWEARING IN
City Clerk Barbara Bellm administered the Official Oath to recently elected Councilman John Hipskind and Councilwoman Sarah Sloan.
Mayor Michaelis recognized Councilman Schwarz and Councilman Nicolaides for their service to the City of Highland.
Councilwoman Bellm made a motion to adjourn; seconded by Councilman Frey. All council members voted aye, none nay. Motion carried and meeting adjourned at 7:07pm
