City of Highland issued the following announcement on May 4.
Our Broadway Resurfacing project is close to being finished. You may have noticed new sidewalks, side street pavement, and ditches since it began in February.
The contractor is waiting for the asphalt plants to open and consistent warm days before replacing the asphalt surface of Broadway.
The new surface will extend from Helvetia Drive to the recently built roundabout at Veterans Honor Parkway.
We will let you know when work is expected to resume
