Alton City Plan Commission met Aug. 4.
Here is the agenda provided by the commission:
• Bryan Law petitioned the Alton City Council for a special use permit at the property identified by permanent parcel number 23-2-07-03-20-402-022, Township 5 North of the Third Principal Meridian, also known as 809 Logan, Alton, Illinois, for solar panels.
• Spaulding Club Association petitioned the Alton City Council to rezone from R-3 (Mixed Single-Family Residential) to C-4 (Downtown Commercial) at the property identified by permanent parcel numbers 23-2-07-14-08-201-017-018, and -019, Township 5 North of the Third Principal Meridian, also known as 405 E. 4th Street, Alton, Illinois, to better align the zoning with the current use of the property.
