Grantfork Volunteer Fire Department responded to nine calls in 2018 - 80 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Grantfork included six fires - three structure fires and three other fires.

The department also received three false calls.

One fire service member was injured in non fire-related incidents.

The Grantfork Volunteer Fire Department had an annual budget of $89,681 in 2018.
