East St. Louis School District 189 recently issued the following announcement.
School District 189 is accepting applications to fill the vacancy resulting from the resignation of Kinnis Williams, Sr. as a Board of Education Member. The individual selected will serve on the Board of Education from the date of appointment until a successor Board of Education Member is elected and seated following the Consolidated Election on April 6, 2021.

Eligible and interested applicants must complete the application and turn it in by 12:00 p.m. on January 19, 2021 to the Board of Education Secretary, 1005 State Street, East St. Louis, Illinois.
