City of Collinsville Fire & Police Commission met July 15.

D. DISCUSSION
The Fire and Police Commissioners discussed the Police Lieutenant
Promotional Testing. The Written Test is scheduled for November 3, 2021 at 4 PM at the Police Department. Human Resources will acquire the testing materials for the candidates. We must give the candidates at least 90 days to study prior to taking the exam. The Fire and Police Commissioners discussed potential interview dates, however no date was decided upon.

The Police Department will be offering two of these positions to the top two candidates on our Lateral List (Billy Tracy and Matthew Morrison). The Police Department is still deciding on which list the third police officer will come from. We may have to hire more officers based on retirements in the next few months.

Brett Boerm, Assistant Police Chief discussed CFO testing begins on July 31, 2021.
