Lindenwood University issued the following announcement on Nov. 19
Lindenwood University is pleased to announce a new transfer partnership with Jefferson College. The program, part of Lindenwood’s Bridge Scholarships, offers a path for Jefferson College students interested in pursuing a four-year degree.
Lindenwood President Dr. John Porter signed the agreement with Jefferson College President Dr. Dena McCaffrey. The event, which took place in the Administration Building Board Room on the campus of Jefferson College marks the fourth partnership for Lindenwood University in the Bridge Scholarships program.
“Growing our partnerships with two-year schools is a benefit to both institutions and forms a bridge for students who are ready to continue their studies,” Porter said. “I’m so pleased to be here with President McCaffrey and look forward to welcoming many Jefferson students to the Lindenwood community. This agreement is a meaningful commitment to degree-seeking students in Missouri.
The agreement provides a clear path for Jefferson College students, in addition to scholarship resources. The scholarship, named the Tesson Ferry Scholarship, represents the bridge students will cross when traveling from Jefferson College to Lindenwood.
