Report: Lebanon School District spent $13,132 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Lebanon Community Unit School District 9 was up 9.6 percent from five years ago, according to the Metro East Sun analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Saint Clair County school district spent $11,985 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $13,132 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 626 to 567 students over the same period.

Lebanon's spending in 2019-20 was 9.4 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
