Granite City median home prices rose by 59.9% in February 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2022 in Granite City rose by $47,000 while total sales decreased by 85.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2022, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $125,500 - a 59.9% increase over the $78,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 49 homes sold in Granite City in February 2021.

The median sales tax in Granite City for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,557, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for February 2022.
