Dylan, a current HSHS Scholars recipient, says, “Hi, my name is Dylan, and the RN Scholars program has helped me tremendously through nursing school, helped me pay for school so that it's one less stressor that I have to deal with when I'm in my classes and I'm working and doing everything else in my life. And it's also helped me kick start my nursing career; in the summer of 2021, I did an internship, and I loved every second of it. And then I was offered an extension position to start right away on the floor that I could have only dreamed of. And I've met so many great people, and I've loved doing what I've been doing, and I was offered an RN residency position for the summer of 2022. I owe everything to the RN Scholars program, and I don't think I'd be here where I am today without it.”
