City of Fairview Heights Business Alliance Commission met April 4

CALL TO ORDER 

Michael Hagen called the meeting to order at 1:35 p.m.

CITIZEN'S COMMENTS 

None

APPROVAL OF MINUTES 

Motion and second were made by Charles Daily/Richard Avdoian to approve the March 7, 2023 Business Alliance Commission minutes. Motion to approve the March 7, 2023 minutes passed on a voice vote.

REVIEW - Recommended Revisions to Business Assistance Program (BAC) 

Director Paul Ellis stated he would have something written up for the next meeting for the Commissions review. Director Ellis went over what needs to be revised in the Business Assistance Program: A. Purpose, B. Consolidation, C. Four Steps, and D. Changes Recommended by BAC/Community Committee.

Questions and comments were discussed.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT - Director's Report 

Director Paul Ellis presented his report and touched base on the following:

Director Ellis mention the Fairview Heights Businesses in the last couple of years have received over 1.5 million in assistance.
