Mascoutah Community Unit School District 19 Education: 2,849 white students were enrolled in schools in 2021-22 school year

There were 2,849 white students enrolled in Mascoutah Community Unit School District 19 in the 2021-22 school year, 4.9% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that Mascoutah Community Unit School District 19 welcomed 4,037 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, white students comprised 68.6% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the district.

Mascoutah Community Unit School District 19 roughly covers schools within St. Clair County and has a main office in Mascoutah.

Among the five schools in Mascoutah Community Unit School District 19, Mascoutah High School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 869 students.

In 2022, Illinois had 1,925,415 students enrolled in a total of 3,977 schools. There were 130,467 teachers in the public schools, or roughly one teacher for every 15 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
