There were 19 Black students enrolled in Jersey County school districts in the 2021-22 school year, 58.3% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that Black students made up 0.8% of the 2,412 students in Jersey County during the 2021-22 school year. They were the second least represented ethnicity.

Jersey Community Unit School District 100 was the only district in the county which enrolled Black students, welcoming 19 students in the 2021-22 school year.
