On Sunday, February 25, former Gillespie High School standout Sydney Bires’ current college team, the McKendree Bearcats, won 4-1 in their NCAA Division II game against the Thomas More Saints.

The game took place in Evansville, Indiana. This was their second matchup against the Thomas More Saints this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 1 at 1 p.m. in O'Fallon, Illinois against Missouri Western Griffons.
