Edwardsville taxpayers ranked 73rd in total sales taxes paid per municipality in April, according to Illinois tax records.

In total, Edwardsville residents paid $1.1 million in sales taxes during April.

Edwardsville ranked 74th in the Prairie State the month before, with $973,760 spent in sales taxes.

The Municipal Sales Tax accounted for the largest share of sales taxes paid by Edwardsville residents in April.
