The Illinois Supreme Court has upheld a Sangamon County judge’s ruling, which halts the Democrats’ plan to change ballot access rules in the middle of an election cycle.
“The Illinois Supreme Court ruling underscores a fundamental principle of fairness: election rules should not be altered in the midst of an election,” said Rep. Elik. “Changing the rules halfway through undermines the integrity of our electoral process.”
