State Representative Kevin Schmidt marked National Hunting and Fishing Day by highlighting the importance of these outdoor activities. In a statement, Schmidt shared personal reflections on the significance of hunting and fishing in his life.

“Some of my favorite memories with my boys are when we’re hunting or fishing. I hope you’re able to enjoy some peace, whether you’re in your waders with your fly rod, or bunkered down in a deer stand,” said Schmidt.
