City of Edwardsville Finance Committee met Nov. 25
Here are the minutes provided by the committee:
Alderman Krause called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. in the Governor Edwards Conference Room in City Hall, located at 118 Hillsboro Avenue in Edwardsville, Illinis.
Roll Call: Alderman Krause, Chairman and Alderwoman Miracle were present. Alderman Farrar was excused.
Also Present: Jeanne Wojcieszak, Director of Finance; Randi Van Wie, Deputy of Finance; Kevin Head, City Administrator; Mike Fillback, Director of Police; Mike Lybarger, Deputy Police Chief; Robert Morgan, Deputy Fire Chief; Dianne Sussman, Library Director; Cathy Hensley, Communication Coordinator; Karla Vaszquez, Edwardsville Intelligencer.
No public comment was made.
Motion by Krause, seconded by Miracle to approve the minutes of the Finance Committee meeting held on November 14, 2024. Motion carried with Krause and Miracle voting aye.

Claims amount will be announced at the Tuesday, December 03, 2024 Council meeting.
Motion Krause, seconded by Miracle to approve and forward to council a Resolution Authorizing the Police Department to Purchase (47) Axon Enterprise, Inc., Taser 10's and Associated Technology and Equipment. Motion carried with Krause and Miracle voting aye.
Motion by Krause, seconded by Miracle to approve and forward to council an Ordinance Making an Assessment Levy, and Collection of Taxes within the Corporate Limits of the City of Edwardsville, County of Madison, State of Illinois, for the Tax Year of 2024 and for the Corporate Expenses for the Fiscal Year Beginning May 1, 2024 and Ending April 30, 2024 (First Reading). Motion carried with Krause and Miracle voting aye.
Finance Committee will meet on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. in the City Hall.
There being no further business meeting adjourned at 4:16 p.m.
