Rep. Charlie Meier recently attended a meeting of the Washington County Farm Bureau in Nashville, where he provided members with a legislative update. During his address, Meier discussed upcoming legislation that could impact farmers and agri-businesses in the next legislative session.

“I enjoy being out and meeting with local ag leaders,” said Meier. “Agriculture is still Illinois top industry, and we need our voices to be heard in Springfield.”

The event served as an opportunity for Meier to engage directly with agricultural leaders and emphasize the importance of their representation at the state level.
