U.S. Congressman Mike Bost, who represents Illinois’ 12th district, shared updates on his recent meetings and positions through a series of posts on social media in late July 2025.

On July 24, Bost highlighted his engagement with women in the trucking industry, stating, "It was great to meet with the women of American Trucking Associations’ Women in Motion Council. These drivers are breaking barriers in the trucking industry, and their stories make clear just how urgent a need it is to fix the national shortage of safe truck parking. Mike Bost has represented Illinois's 12th District in Congress since 2015 after serving two decades in the Illinois House of Representatives and previously as a member of the Jackson County Board. He was born in Murphysboro, Illinois in 1960 and continues to reside there.
