Illinois State Representative Kevin Schmidt (R-Cahokia) will host a Veterans Roundtable meeting on October 27 at the American Legion Post 485 in Dupo. The event is intended for veterans living in the 114th district and aims to provide a forum to discuss policy issues that affect veterans.
Schmidt said, "If you’re a veteran and would like to join, I would be honored to hear from you about the challenges you and your families are facing as well as the things the state is doing well and not so well."
The meeting will take place at 11:00 AM at 200 S 5th St, Dupo, IL 62239. Veterans interested in attending are encouraged to contact Schmidt's office at 618-215-1050 to RSVP.
Schmidt was elected as a Republican representative for Illinois' 114th House District in 2023, succeeding LaToya Greenwood.
