The City of Alton, Illinois Plan Commission will hold its regular meeting at 1:15 p.m. on Jan. 5 in the Alton City Council Chambers.
The commission will consider issuing a special-use permit to petitioner Charles Wiley, Jr. for operating a tow truck dispatch center at 826-834 E. 7th St. The area is currently zoned for single-family residential properties.
Similarly, Edmund Jones and Giant City LLC will receive judgment on their request to add "fitness center" to the list of approved activities in C-1 Neighborhood Commercial areas. They will also seek a special-use permit for a fitness center at 900-918 Union St.
