Madison County Finance and Government Operations Committee reviews purchasing approvals, safety and risk management.
The Finance and Government Operations Committee for Madison County, Illinois, recently convened to go over recent purchasing approvals, important resolutions, immediate emergency appropriations and safety and risk management.
Important purchasing approvals included $22,403.74 for two new Dell servers, $26,400.00 for Facilities Management’s new retaining wall at the museum and $5,760.00 for Animal Control’s annual software and maintenance updates.
On the resolutions front, the committee approved four: the purchase of a Power 8 Server upgrade for the Circuit Clerk, the purchase of one new 110 HP tractor for the highway department, the purchase of one Finn T90T Hydorseeder Trailer for the highway department and the renewal of the Cisco Smartnet maintenance program for the IT department.
The committee also discussed the 2016 Health Department IBCCP Grant for immediate emergency appropriation. In the last event of the meeting, Safety and Risk Management informed the committee that it is in the middle of benefit open enrollment.
