Madison County to vote on new air conditioner for morgue.
The Madison County Buildings and Facilities Management Committee will vote on a purchase request for a new air conditioner at the morgue during its meeting this afternoon at the Madison County Administration Building.
Commissioners will hear updates on engineering services for the courthouse, lock and camera replacements for the detention home, an architectural and engineering study for the jail and elevator and fire alarm replacements for Wood River.
The committee will also discuss a request to use county property. Officials did not say in advance who was making the request or what they would do with the property.
The meeting is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
The committee will meet again Feb. 8.
