In a recent, regularly scheduled meeting, the city council for the City of Edwardsville, Illinois, discussed activity and financial reports, the 2016 city liquor and tobaccos licenses, and other impending issues.
The council, after first hearing public comments, examined reports from elected and appointed officials, including the monthly financial and activity reports from the city clerk, the monthly financial report from the city treasurer and the monthly activity report from both the police and the fire chief.
The council then went through a host of motions and resolutions. It approved the 2016 tobacco licenses and the 2016 liquor licenses for the City of Edwardsville. Other resolutions included an approval of the award for 2016 sanitary sewer manhole rehabilitation to Spectra Tech and the 2016 sanitary sewer rehabilitation to Visu-Sewer of Missouri.
Mayor Patton presided over the meeting. Council members in attendance included Aldermen Risavy, Mallon, Krause, Stamer, Louer and Stack.
