The Finance Committee of Edwardsville, Ill., met at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday to examine an ordinance related to the town center business district.
The ordinance covers a variety of issues, including establishing the town center business district, approving a business district plan, authorizing the imposition and collection of sales tax within this business district and authorizing certain actions in connection with the establishment of the district.
The committee also discussed a commercial building façade program application for 301 N. Main St. for Studio Seven Real Estate.
Before adjourning, the committee chief hosted a budget discussion. The next meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 8.
