Notice is hereby given by the City Plan Commission of the City of Alton, Illinois, that a public hearing will be held in the Alton City Council Chambers, 101 E. Third Street, Alton, Illinois, on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, 1:15 p.m. to consider the following matter:

 Boys and Girls Club of Alton petitioned the Alton City Council for a special use permit at the property identified by permanent parcel number 23-2-08-06-18-303-012, Section 6, Township 5 North, Range 9 West of the Third Principal Meridian, also known as 2512 Amelia, Alton, Illinois, for the new home of Boys and Girls Club of Alton.

 Arrow Signs & Outdoor Advertising petitioned the Alton City Council for a special use permit at the property identified by permanent parcel number 23-1-08-06-10-101-015, Section 6, Township 5 North, Range 9 West of the Third Principal Meridian, also known as 3001 Washington, Alton, Illinois, for LED signs.

 Max Fire Training Inc. petitioned the Alton City Council for a special use permit at the property identified by permanent parcel numbers 23-1-07-02-08-201-001 and 23-1-07- 02-08-201-001.001, Northeast One Quarter of Section 2, Township 5 North, Range 10 West of the Third Principal Meridian, also known as 33 E. Delmar and 4120 Alby Street, Alton, Illinois, for warehouse use within the C-2 (General Commercial) property.

 A text amendment to the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Alton so as to eliminate certain multiple-family dwellings as a permitted use in R-3 and R-4 Zoning Districts and to create certain multiple-family dwellings as an allowable special use in R-3 and R-4 Zoning Districts.
