Troy home prices fall in February 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2017 in Troy fell by $28,500 while total sales decreased by 9.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2017, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $127,500 - a 18.3% decrease over the $156,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 11 homes sold in Troy in February 2016.

The median sales tax in Troy for 2017 was $3,873. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,827. This marks an increase of 1.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3%.
