Collinsville Community Unit School District 10 issued the following announcement on Jan. 23.
Renfro Elementary school nurse Lisa Sabatino was named January 2020 Kahok Educator of the Month on Thursday, January 23, 2020. The award was presented by local Edward Jones Representative Jason Rehg and Renfro Principal Laura Bauer.
In addition to her daily duties at Renfro, Nurse Sabatino also serves as CUSD 10’s lead nurse, overseeing health and wellness programs, as well as district nursing needs.
Renfro Principal Laura Bauer said, “Lisa knows the students’ health plans inside and out. She is hardworking and dedicated to the well-being of all students. Lisa goes above and beyond in communication with parents and deserves to be recognized for her commitment to the district.”
Local Edward Jones Representative Jason Rehg sponsors the award each month during the school year to recognize outstanding educators in Collinsville CUSD 10.
