Jackstadt stated that first we have an Ordinance approving the declaration of trust of the Illinois Trust (formerly known as the Illinois institutional Investor Trust) and authorizing the execution thereof, and authorizing certain officials to act on the behalf of the City of Granite City, Illinois and turned over to Treasurer Shari Grim.
Treasurer Grim stated that Illinois Trust is a Trust that has the City, Municipalities, Fire district that all pool their money together to make investments. If you are familiar to Illinois funds it very similar to that. Therefore, I want to add the Illinois Trust to our investment opportunities to create some diversity.
