How did home prices perform in Cahokia during the first half of 2022?

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Cahokia rose by $13,000 while total sales decreased by 12.8 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 123 homes sold, with a median sale price of $38,000 - a 52 percent increase over the $25,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 141 homes sold in Cahokia in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Cahokia for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,441, approximately 3.8 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
