OTHER BUSINESS

-Dump Stickers go on sale beginning Monday, April 15th at City Hall. Cost is $160.00 per sticker/per vehicle. Permit holders must bring proof of residency with either a current utility bill or driver’s license.

New stickers are valid at the time of purchase through April 30, 2025.

-Solar Eclipse Monday, April 8th – A total solar eclipse will be visible from much of southern Illinois starting at 12:45 p.m. with Jerseyville seeing 97% coverage of the sun at 2:01 p.m. A limited supply of the ISOcertified eclipse glasses will be available at City Hall that will allow you to safely view the eclipse. Stop by City Hall to pick up glasses before April 8th and watch the eclipse with fellow amateur astronomers at the Library or any public spaces in town. For more information, please call City Hall at 618-498-3312.

-Drug Take Back Program will be offered Saturday, April 27th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at CVS Parking Lot, 303 South State Street, Jerseyville
