Dr. Michael Ansstas has joined HSHS Medical Group Multispecialty Care in O’Fallon, located at 3 St. Elizabeth Blvd., Suite 5000. Dr. Ansstas is a board-certified gastroenterologist with specialized training in interventional gastroenterology. He treats various digestive conditions affecting the gastrointestinal tract, liver, and pancreas.

Dr. Ansstas received his medical degree from the University of Tishreen School of Medicine in Latakia, Syria. He completed his internal medicine residency and allergy and immunology fellowships at Saint Louis University Hospital in Saint Louis. His additional training includes a gastroenterology fellowship at Washington University-Barnes Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis and advanced interventional work at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
