Madison County Transportation Committee meets to discuss purchase requests

The Madison County Transportation Committee met Thursday, July 14.

Here are the meeting minutes as provided by the Madison County Transportation Committee:

July 14, 2016

Items Discussed/Votes:

I Chairman Semanisin called meeting to order at 7:30 A. M.

Trucano made motion and second by Meyer to approve minutes from June 9, 2016 meeting. Motion passed unanimously.

II Gvillo presented the following resolutions:

- Resolution Prevailing Wage

- Staunton Road Culvert/Right-of-Way Acquisition, Jane Fleming

- Staunton Road Culvert/Right-of-Way Acquisition, Mary Jane Davis

- Report of Bids/Award Contract 2016 County /Township MFT Maintenance Salt Material Proposal

- Resolution for Establishment of an Altered Speed Zone, Fort Russell Road District in Madison County

Motion made by Walters, second by Robertson to approve Resolutions as presented. Motion passed unanimously by roll call.

III Gvillo presented the following purchase requests:

- Purchase Request for Trimble S7 Total Station, Seiler Instruments

- Water Main Relocation (CH51) Staunton Rd, North of Worden, Bond Madison Water Company

Motion made by Asadorian, second by Walters to approve Purchases. Motion passed unanimously by roll call.

IV Next Transportation Committee meeting will be scheduled on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 7:30 A.M at the Madison County Highway Department.

Motion made by Trucano, second by Walters to adjourn meeting. Motion passed unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 8:08 A. M.
