56 Madison County residents in their twenties test positive for COVID-19

As of May 19, there have been 56 Madison County residents in their twenties who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

There have been 504 residents in their twenties in the county who had been tested, meaning that 11 percent of those tested have the coronavirus. Through May 19, there have been 499 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 45 deaths from the coronavirus in Madison County.
